The FSU Service Center is currently in Phase I of its release. The initial goal of the Phase I implementation was to provide support that equates to the previous system. The partners and account holders that existed prior to implementation were identified and converted.
This allowed the team time to define/correct errors, and to add features and reporting tools to the baseline functionality, that were determined mandatory before the campus-wide release. During this time, we are accepting requests from departments with an immediate need, for new Provider Group ,as long as they understand where we stand in the implementation.
Once a more comprehensive solution has been achieved, ITS will actively promote the FSU Service Center as an enterprise trouble ticketing and reporting system application for full use or as a convenient compliment to other existing campus systems by transferring or redirectingcases. The release date for Phase II has not been established at this time.
